Job summary

Pro‑Recruitment Group is seeking a Corporate Tax Senior Manager for Birmingham. You will advise ambitious entrepreneurs, owner‑managed businesses, and PE‑backed groups across the full business lifecycle, working with Directors and Partners to shape strategic decisions.

You will manage your own portfolio, lead on complex advisory and tax structuring, and deliver comprehensive corporate tax services while mentoring junior staff and driving business development.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of UK taxation and advising owner-managed businesses, PE-backed groups and entrepreneurs.
• Strong M&A experience including tax structuring and due diligence.
• Proven track record in managing client portfolios and delivering service excellence.
• Experience leading complex projects and resolving technically challenging tax issues.
• Interest in developing people and contributing to the team’s success.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own portfolio with onboarding, engagement control, billing and cash collection.
• Lead on complex advisory assignments including tax structuring and buy-/sell-side due diligence.
• Deliver Corporation Tax compliance and advisory services leveraging shared resources.
• Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships and generate new business with leadership support.
• Mentor and develop junior team members to build leadership capabilities.
• Manage risk and ensure adherence to quality standards.
