Job summary

ICTS UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Security Officer to protect people and premises at prestigious client sites in Burgess Hill, UK. You will control access, patrol sites, and respond to queries with a professional customer-focused approach.

The role involves door supervision, alarm activation/deactivation, incident reporting, and strict adherence to health and safety guidelines. Training and uniform are provided.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience as a Corporate Security Officer.
• SIA DS or SG license is required.
• Five years’ checkable history and references.

Responsibilities

• Managing access control for buildings and car-parks for employees, visitors and contractors.
• Patrolling the buildings, car parks and grounds to deter and detect problems.
• Responding to customer requests and queries.
• Checking and challenging ID passes with a professional approach.
• De-activating and activating alarms.
• Unlocking and locking buildings, rooms, external barriers and gates to prevent unauthorised access.
• Maintaining incident reports and logs using computer and paper systems.
