Job summary

ICTS UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Security Officer to ensure the safety of people and premises at prestigious client sites. You will manage access control, patrol buildings and respond to queries.

You will check IDs, deactivate and activate alarms, lock/unlock areas, and report health and safety issues. You must be flexible to cover 12-hour shifts across Monday to Sunday.

Full training, uniform and safety equipment are provided; a valid SIA license and CRC clearance are essential.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience as a Corporate Security Officer.
• SIA DS or SG license is required.
• Five years of checkable history and references.
• Ability to pass CRC checks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage access control for buildings and car parks for employees, visitors and contractors.
• Patrol buildings, car parks and grounds to deter and detect problems.
• Respond to customer requests and queries promptly.
• Check and challenge ID passes in a professional manner.
• Activate and deactivate alarms as required.
• Unlock/lock buildings, rooms, gates to prevent unauthorised access.
• Maintain incident records using computer- and paper-based systems.
