Job summary

Interlink Recruitment in Manchester is seeking an ambitious Senior Associate to join its corporate team. You will advise on a broad range of corporate transactions, with emphasis on M&A, private equity and restructurings, working alongside partners to deliver high-quality client service.

You will lead deal management from inception to completion, supervise junior lawyers, and contribute to business development. The role offers hybrid working and a supportive, nationally-recognised platform.

Qualifications

• You will be a qualified solicitor with: 4+ years' PQE gained at a national, international or respected regional law firm.
• Strong corporate transactional experience, particularly M&A.
• Ability to run transactions with supervision from senior lawyers and partners.
• Excellent technical, commercial and client management skills.
• Proactive business development and networking mindset.
• Collaborative and willing to mentor junior lawyers.
• Ambition to progress within a growing practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day management of M&A, private equity and corporate transactions.
• Draft, negotiate and advise on a range of complex transactional documents.
• Manage deals from inception through to completion.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser throughout transactions.
• Work closely with colleagues across multiple practice areas to deliver seamless client service.
• Supervise and mentor junior members of the team.
• Contribute to business development, networking and profile-raising initiatives.
