Chadwick Nott is seeking an experienced Corporate Associate to join a leading Cheltenham corporate team. You will work on high-value transactions, advising on M&A, private equity and restructurings, from drafting to completion.

The role offers hybrid flexibility, a competitive salary (£60,000–£80,000 per annum) and opportunities for progression within a supportive, high-performing team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ PQE in corporate law.
• Strong experience in M&A, private equity and corporate advisory matters.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Strong commercial awareness.
• Confident managing your own matters.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive, ambitious and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Advise on M&A, private equity, joint ventures and corporate restructurings.
• Draft and negotiate key transaction documents.
• Lead negotiations and manage transactions from start to finish.
• Provide strategic corporate advice to a wide range of clients.
• Collaborate with colleagues across specialist teams.
• Support business development and networking activity.
• Mentor junior lawyers and trainees.
• Maintain up to date legal knowledge.
