Job summary

Chadwick Nott is recruiting a Corporate Associate (2-4 PQE) to join its Bristol team. You will work on high-quality domestic and international transactions from day one, alongside respected partners and lawyers across a broad corporate practice.

The role offers involvement in M&A, private equity, venture capital, restructurings, governance and general corporate advisory work, with hybrid/flexible arrangements and clear development pathways.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years’ PQE gained within a respected regional, national or City corporate team.
• Experience assisting on M&A, investment and wider corporate transactions.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and technical legal skills.
• Excellent commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
• Confidence building relationships with clients, intermediaries and colleagues.
• Genuine interest in business development and networking activities.
• An interest in the Technology sector would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deal with mergers & acquisitions, private equity transactions and venture capital investments.
• Assist on corporate restructurings and reorganisations as part of a busy team.
• Provide guidance on shareholder matters and corporate governance.
• Deliver general corporate advisory work on domestic and cross-border transactions.
• Collaborate with senior partners on handling high-quality client matters.
• Engage in business development and build client networks.
• Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing Bristol team.
