Job summary

Capital Group is seeking a Core Ops Corporate Actions Associate Senior in London to manage end-to-end corporate action activities with risk-conscious processing and close attention to NAV and reporting timelines.

You will collaborate with Investment Group, other business units, and external parties to ensure accurate instructions, compliant handling, and timely decision execution. The role emphasizes initiative, training, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates working knowledge of securities and investment operations.
• Demonstrates working knowledge of Excel, Microsoft and other business applications.
• Demonstrates working knowledge of accounting, including GAAP, and ability to apply it.
• Provides training and guidance to newer associates.

Responsibilities

• Prepares end-to-end activities with impacts on trading, NAV and financial reporting.
• Analyzes impact of corporate action events and contacts impacted parties as needed.
• Monitors the Capital System to ensure instructions are provided before deadlines.
• Communicates with Investment Group to provide options and recommendations.
• Executes investment decisions and coordinates with other units for compliance.
