This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading crypto exchange and MiFID II regulated Trading Venue in Europe, offering cryptocurrency derivatives!

Your mission

As a Senior Core Compliance Officer, your role will be to support the business and day-to-day operations by undertaking Compliance oversight activities to ensure the trading platforms (digital assets and derivatives for institutional and individual clients) remain in adherence with relevant regulatory requirements. Such activities include Monitoring and Surveillance, Testing and Thematic reviews, Risk Assessments, Reporting (both internal and external), leading and overseeing Conduct controls, as well as working closely with various business and support functions to ensure a robust compliance control framework.

What you’ll do

• Conduct monitoring and testing related to AML and Market Abuse, as well as Thematic Desk reviews (e.g., Product governance manufacturing and distribution).
• Lead and manage internal and external reporting.
• Manage Conduct related activities, such as PA Dealing, Gifts and Entertainment, Conflicts of Interest oversight, and related Register maintenance.
• Provide training to the business on Compliance matters.
• Support Regulatory change initiatives and projects.

Who you are

• Strong product knowledge across multiple asset classes, focusing on cryptocurrency and derivatives (Futures, Options, Swaps).
• Significant experience in Monitoring, Surveillance, and/or Testing roles.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Additional Information

• Fluency in English and another European language is preferable.
• Experience in cryptocurrency and/or MiFID II is highly beneficial.
