Job summary

Puro Associates in Oldham is recruiting an experienced Senior Conveyancer to join its busy property team. You will manage your own caseload from instruction through to completion and post-completion matters, ensuring quality and compliance.

The role is permanent, full-time and office-based, offering opportunities to mentor juniors and contribute to process improvements within a supportive department.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' conveyancing experience.
• Strong residential property experience.
• Ability to run files independently.
• Experience across freehold and leasehold transactions.
• Good knowledge of conveyancing procedures and property law.
• Excellent client care and communication skills.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proactive and commercially aware.
• Ability to support the wider team.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied property caseload from instruction to completion.
• Handle residential sales and purchases.
• Oversee freehold and leasehold transactions.
• Assist with remortgages, transfers of equity, and new builds.
• Review titles and title documents; manage searches and SDLT.
• Prepare contracts and transfer documentation; liaise with clients and professionals.
• Progress matters through exchange and completion; post-completion work.
• Support junior staff and department processes.
