Job summary

Hawthorne-Finch Talent Solutions is recruiting a Senior Conveyancer for a leading Maidstone law firm. You will lead on high-value, complex residential conveyancing matters and mentor junior colleagues within a dynamic team.

Based in Maidstone with a flexible/hybrid working option, you will draft and review contracts, perform title checks, and liaise with clients, agents, lenders, and other solicitors while upholding regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 6+ years’ experience in residential conveyancing (PQE or equivalent).
• Extensive UK private practice experience.
• Expert technical knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures.
• Proven ability to manage complex and high-value transactions.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Track record of client care and business development.
• Relevant legal qualification (Solicitor, Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of complex and high-value residential conveyancing matters
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
• Liaise with clients, agents, lenders, and other solicitors
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, transfer deeds, and associated documentation
• Conduct detailed title checks, searches, and due diligence
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and firm standards
