Hawthorne-Finch Talent Solutions is seeking a Senior Conveyancer for a leading Gravesend law firm. The role manages complex residential conveyancing matters with leadership responsibilities and mentorship within a supportive team.

Based in Gravesend with hybrid options, the position offers a competitive salary of £55k–£70k and Friday-to-Friday hours. You will handle high-value transactions, liaise with clients, lenders and other solicitors, and contribute to the firm's client offering.

• 6+ years of experience in residential conveyancing.
• Extensive UK private practice experience.
• Strong leadership and client-care abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of complex, high-value residential conveyancing matters.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Liaise with clients, agents, lenders and other solicitors.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, transfer deeds and related documents.
• Conduct detailed title checks, searches and due diligence.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and firm standards.

Are you a seasoned conveyancing professional looking for a senior role with real influence? Our client, a highly regarded law firm in Gravesend, is seeking a Senior Conveyancer to manage complex, high-value matters and provide mentorship within a dynamic, supportive team.

The Opportunity

Location: Gravesend, Kent (office-based with flexible/hybrid working considered)

Salary: £55,000–£70,000 per annum

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm

Key Responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years’ experiencein residential conveyancing (PQE or equivalent)

• Expert technical knowledgeof property law and conveyancing procedures
• Proven ability to manage complex and high-value transactions
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Track record of client care and business development
• Relevant legal qualification(Solicitor, Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer, or equivalent)
