Job summary

Our client, a well-established law firm in Newcastle upon Tyne, is seeking an experienced Conveyancer or Conveyancing Solicitor to manage a busy residential property caseload with autonomy. You will be joining a large, supportive property team, with opportunities to mentor junior fee earners and contribute to department development.

The role offers a collaborative environment, a focus on client care, and a structured supervision model within a reputable practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload with a high degree of autonomy.
• Handle transactions from instruction through to completion with minimal supervision.
• Deal with complex matters including leasehold, remortgages, Transfers of Equity, new builds and auctions.
• Review title reports and sign off files for exchange where appropriate.
• Meet time recording, billing and performance targets and support junior fee earners.
