Job summary

Clear Legal & Financial Recruitment is seeking a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join their Newcastle, Tyne and Wear offices on a hybrid basis. You will manage a broad range of residential property transactions and gradually build up to a caseload of 90-120 files.

The role requires at least five years' experience handling residential conveyancing independently, a commitment to client service, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• At least five years experience independently managing a residential conveyancing caseload.
• A strong commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
• In-depth knowledge of complex transactions and legal principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
• A proactive, professional, and collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload (90-120 files) with minimal supervision.
• Handle complex transactions: leasehold, re-mortgage, Transfer of Equity, Help to Buy, redemption, new builds, shared ownership, company purchases, and auctions.
• Sign off on other fee earners files for exchange and review title reports.
• Achieve time recording and billing targets consistently.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior fee earners.
• Drive business development initiatives and lead process improvements within the department.
• Conduct regular file reviews to ensure compliance and quality.

My client is searching for a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join their offices based in Newcastle, Tyne and Wear on a hybrid basis.
