Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a seasoned Controls Engineer to deliver machine control system solutions for bespoke automation projects in the East Midlands. You will write and develop PLC software and HMI coding while handling electrical design and detailed documentation.

Key requirements include a degree in electrical engineering and at least 5 years' PLC experience with Omron, Siemens, and Allen-Bradley platforms.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical/electronic engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in software design and PLC coding.
• Experience with Omron, Siemens and Allen-Bradley equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop PLC software and HMI coding for automation projects.
• Electrical system design and circuit diagram creation.
• Ensure safety and machinery directive compliance.
• Travel to customer sites across the UK as needed.
