ALPINE RACING LIMITED based in Enstone is seeking a Senior Controls Development Engineer to deploy and improve car control systems, ensuring performance, reliability and race readiness.

You will design control algorithms, develop ECU software and calibration tools, own end-to-end lifecycle from concept to validation, and work with vehicle performance, systems and electronics teams to achieve optimal track results.

Qualifications

• Experience with control systems, embedded software, ECU configuration and race-car electronics.
• Proficiency in MATLAB and Python or similar for data analysis.
• Ability to work under pressure and own critical systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

You will thrive under pressure, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and take ownership of critical systems in high‑stakes situations. Experience with control systems, embedded software, ECU configuration, and race‑car electronics is essential, as is a solid understanding of vehicle systems and race engineering operations. Proficiency in engineering tools, data analysis, and scripting (such as MATLAB, Python, or similar) is highly desirable, alongside strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
