ALPINE RACING LIMITED is seeking a skilled CAM Programmer to join their programming team. You will transform complex designs into high‑quality metallic NC programs, collaborating with engineering and manufacturing to meet tight deadlines while prioritising safety and quality.

Based in the UK, you will drive efficiency of machining processes, support design for manufacture, and maximise machine and tooling performance within a fast-paced Formula 1 environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience programming CNC machines, including tooling, methodology, speeds and feeds.
• Engineering drawings, CAD models, GD&T and technical specifications interpretation.
• Experience developing machining processes for complex metallic components.
• PC literacy, including Dynamics 365 and standard office software.

We are looking for a highly skilled CAM Programmer to join our Programming team and play a key role in transforming complex designs into high-performance metallic components that help drive success on and off the track. Based within our CAM department, this is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment where precision, quality and continuous improvement are paramount. The Role Reporting to the CAM Team Leader - Metallics, you will utilise CAM software to create safe, efficient and high-quality NC programs for the manufacture of metallic components. You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing and management teams to ensure parts are produced to specification while maximising machine and tooling performance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Experience developing machining processes for complex metallic components.
• Strong PC literacy, including Microsoft Office applications and manufacturing systems such as Dynamics 365.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
• A flexible, proactive approach and the ability to perform effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Alpine, a brand born from racing Alpine’s history dates back to 1955 when Jean Rédélé, a young man passionate about competition, formed the automotive brand. Fast forward nearly 70 years, and Alpine is now at the forefront of motor racing, competing alongside the elite in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship and the World Endurance Championship as well as many other motorsport disciplines.
