An international leader in their field, part of a global group with a high volume of new business, has created a number of Senior Controls Engineer roles to lead various projects in the UK, Europe, and worldwide.

£60,000 - £80,000 + Profit Share + Overtime + Full Benefits Package

Location: Northern Ireland - relocation assistance available

Senior Control Engineer - The Role:

• Develop PLC controls and software solutions for automated machinery projects
• Ensure control and safety systems meet national and international standards
• Program and commission robots (KUKA / Fanuc / ABB)
• Test and debug software, produce test plans
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members
• Test systems in factory and at customer sites
• Work within a team to deliver projects on time and within budget

Senior Control Engineer - The Person:

• 5+ years' experience in control systems, with knowledge of Rockwell / Allen Bradley (training available for other PLCs)
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and budget
• Experience in automation and machinery design, with a hands-on approach
• Knowledge of vision systems, HMIs, motion control, or robotics is a plus
• Strong customer interaction skills
• Willing to travel nationally and internationally for commissioning (1-2 weeks, several times a year)
• Good interpersonal skills for team collaboration
• Flexible and proactive in a dynamic environment

Location: Based in Dundee, with relocation support; open to UK residents requiring sponsorship.
