Job Description:

An international leader in their field, part of a global group with a high volume of new business, has now created several Senior Controls Engineer roles to take the technical lead on various projects in the UK, Europe, and worldwide.

£60,000 - £80,000 + Profit Share + Overtime + Full Benefits Package

Location: Northern Ireland - relocation assistance available

Senior Control Engineer - The Role:

• Develop PLC controls and software solutions for automated machinery projects
• Ensure control and safety systems meet national and international standards
• Program and commission robots such as KUKA, Fanuc, ABB
• Test and debug software, produce test plans
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, and team members
• Test systems in the factory and on customer sites
• Contribute to project delivery within scope and budget

Senior Control Engineer - The Person:

• 5+ years of experience, preferably with Rockwell / Allen Bradley PLCs; training available for others
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and budget
• Experience in automation, machinery design, with a hands-on approach
• Knowledge of vision systems, HMIs, motion control, robotics is a plus
• Customer-focused with strong communication skills
• Willing to travel nationally and internationally for commissioning
• Team player with interpersonal skills
• Flexible, proactive, and adaptable to changing priorities

Location: Dundee area, with relocation support; open to UK residents requiring sponsorship.
