Job Description:

An international leader in their field, part of a global group with a high volume of new business, has created several Senior Controls Engineer roles to lead technical projects in the UK, Europe, and worldwide.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 + Profit Share + Overtime + Full Benefits Package

Location: Northern Ireland - relocation assistance available

Senior Control Engineer - The Role:

• Develop PLC controls and software solutions for automated machinery projects
• Ensure control and safety systems meet national and international standards
• Program and commission robots such as KUKA, Fanuc, ABB
• Test and debug software, produce test plans
• Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members
• Conduct testing in factories and at customer sites
• Work within a team to deliver projects on time and within budget

Senior Control Engineer - The Person:

• 5+ years of experience, preferably with Rockwell/Allen Bradley PLCs; training available for other PLCs
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and budget
• Experience in automation and machinery design, hands-on preferred
• Knowledge of vision systems, HMIs, motion control, or robotics is advantageous
• Commercial mindset with customer interaction skills
• Willing to travel nationally and internationally for commissioning (1-2 weeks, several times a year)
• Strong interpersonal skills for team collaboration
• Flexible and proactive approach in a dynamic environment

Location: Based in Dundee with relocation support; open to UK residents requiring sponsorship.
