Job Description:

An international leader in their field, part of a global group with a high volume of new business, has created several Senior Controls Engineer roles to lead technical projects in the UK, Europe, and worldwide.

£60,000 - £80,000 + Profit Share + Overtime + Full Benefits Package

Location: Northern Ireland - relocation assistance available

Senior Control Engineer - The Role:

• Develop PLC controls and software solutions for automated machinery projects
• Ensure control and safety systems meet national and international standards
• Program and commission robots (KUKA, Fanuc, ABB)
• Test and debug software, produce test plans
• Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members
• Conduct testing at factory and customer sites
• Work as part of a team to deliver projects on time and within budget

Senior Control Engineer - The Person:

• 5+ years in a similar role, experience with Rockwell/Allen Bradley preferred but other PLCs considered
• Proven track record of delivering projects successfully
• Experience in automation and machinery design, hands-on preferred
• Knowledge of vision systems, HMIs, motion control, or robotics is a plus
• Customer-focused with a commercial approach
• Willing to travel nationally and internationally for commissioning (1-2 weeks, several times per year)
• Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation
• Flexible and proactive in a dynamic environment

Location: Dundee area with relocation support; open to UK residents requiring sponsorship.
