Job summary

Kinetic Plc is seeking an experienced Control & Automation Systems Design Engineer to design electrical control panels and automation systems for customers across FMCG and related industries. You will produce high-quality technical documentation and support both internal teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical/control systems background with hands-on design experience.
• Electrical or Controls qualification (Apprenticeship, BTEC, ONC, HNC, Degree).
• Minimum 8 years in industrial control panel/system design; PLC/HMI programming experience.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of electrical control panel and automation system design.
• Produce BOMs, technical specs, construction files and write manuals.
• Provide project support to internal teams and customers, including testing and commissioning.
• Write and test basic PLC and HMI programs; verify safety circuits and compliance.
• Assist with site surveys, start-ups, and training as needed.
