Curve Recruitment are working with a respected main contractor to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager for Stevenage and Home Counties projects. The role oversees multiple schemes (£500k–£8m) with a salary of £75,000–£90,000 plus package.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager across refurbishment and fit-out schemes.
• Strong commercial awareness with budget and contract management.
• Hands-on leader, able to motivate teams and drive performance.
• Confident in client-facing environments and relationship building.
• Organised, decisive and solution-driven with attention to risk.
• Proficient IT skills including MS Office and project reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from pre-construction through to completion.
• Oversee Site Managers and project teams with clear direction.
• Manage procurement, subcontractor performance and contracts.
• Drive programme performance and cost control across schemes.
• Identify and manage commercial and operational risks.
• Maintain strong client relationships as a senior point of contact.
• Ensure health and safety standards across all sites.
• Contribute to repeat business and future tender opportunities.
