Job summary

Pave Aways Building Contractors in Shropshire is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to own and lead major new-build and refurbishment projects across Shropshire, Mid Wales, Cheshire and the West Midlands. You will manage Site Managers and project teams, build relationships with clients and consultants, and play a key role in the firm’s growth.

The role requires robust construction knowledge, a track record of successful delivery, and focus on safety, quality, and value.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in building construction contracts and management.
• Proven track record delivering new builds and refurbishments.
• Experience with complex live environments (education/healthcare).
• Knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead significant new-build and refurbishment projects.
• Develop and lead Site Managers and project teams.
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain.
• Drive project budgets, scheduling and procurement.
• Ensure high health and safety standards and quality.
