Job summary

Regional Recruitment Ltd is actively seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead multiple healthcare and commercial construction projects from inception to handover. The role requires strong commercial awareness, stakeholder management, and the ability to coordinate site teams and subcontractors across a portfolio.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, with a proven track record in contract administration, budgeting, and delivering projects safely on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the construction industry.
• Strong background delivering Healthcare and/or Commercial construction projects including refurbishments.
• Excellent knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and contract administration.
• Strong financial and budget management experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects from inception through to handover.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Oversee Site Managers, subcontractors, and project delivery teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders.
• Monitor project programmes and identify solutions to potential delays.
• Manage project costs, variations, valuations, and overall commercial performance.
• Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and company procedures.
• Conduct regular site visits and progress meetings.
• Support pre-construction planning and resource allocation.
• Drive high standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
• Produce and present project performance reports to senior management.
• Resolve project challenges quickly and effectively to minimise disruption.
