Job summary

BRUSH Group is seeking a legal contracts specialist with experience in the UK construction, energy, renewables or utilities sectors. You will lead on sales and purchasing contract reviews and negotiations, working closely with sales, commercial operations and other legal support across BRUSH businesses.

The role requires handling NEC/JCT forms, drafting templates, bid input, dispute settlements, debt recovery and IP/insurance matters, reporting to the Group Legal Director.

Qualifications

• UK-qualified solicitor with 3+ years PQE in construction, energy, renewables or utilities, preferably in-house.
• Commercial contracts specialist with rounded legal skills in construction, energy, renewables or utilities sectors.

Responsibilities

• Contract review, negotiation of contracts with customers and suppliers in construction, energy, renewables and utilities sectors.
• Drafting contract templates, interpretation, bids and tenders input, dispute settlement, debt recovery, and IP/insurance matters.
• Collaborate with compliance, finance, health and safety, sales, tendering and project management; report to the Group Legal Director.
