Job Description:

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to join a well-established, multi-discipline contracting company in the Shrewsbury area. The company specializes in Building Repairs & Refurbishment, Groundworks & Minor Civils, Landscape Management, and Electrical Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple projects from pre-construction to completion
• Oversee directly employed labour and subcontractors to ensure timely, budget-compliant delivery
• Use Microsoft Project to develop and maintain project plans
• Develop and implement contract management strategies
• Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders
• Report to the Operations Director
• Collaborate with Estimators and Quantity Surveyors on budgets
• Lead a team including two Contracts Managers and about 10 operatives

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in groundworks contract management
• Valid SMSTS certification
• Current First Aid at Work qualification
• Valid CSCS card
• Strong commercial acumen and multi-project management experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills

Package:

• Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 depending on experience
• Company vehicle provided
