Senior Contracts Manager

Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire

Type: Permanent / Full-Time

A well-established, multi-discipline contracting company specialising in Building Repairs & Refurbishment, Groundworks & Minor Civils, Landscape Management, and Electrical Engineering is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to join their team in Leeds.

Role Overview:

You will manage multiple projects from pre-construction to completion, ensuring delivery within budget and schedule. This senior role involves managing labour and subcontractors, developing contract strategies, and maintaining strong client and supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage projects from pre-construction through to completion
• Oversee labour and subcontractors to ensure timely, budget-compliant delivery
• Create and maintain work programmes using Microsoft Project
• Develop and implement contract management strategies
• Build relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders
• Report to the Operations Director
• Collaborate with Estimators and Quantity Surveyors on budgets and schedules
• Lead a team including two Contracts Managers and about 10 operatives

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in groundworks contract management
• Valid SMSTS certification
• Current First Aid at Work qualification
• Valid CSCS card
• Strong commercial acumen and multi-project management experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills

Package:

• Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 depending on experience
