Role Overview:

A well-established, multi-discipline contracting company specializing in Building Repairs & Refurbishment, Groundworks & Minor Civils, Landscape Management, and Electrical Engineering is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to join their team in the Bolton area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple projects from pre-construction to completion
• Oversee employed labour and subcontractors to ensure project delivery within budget and schedule
• Use Microsoft Project to create and maintain work programmes and project plans
• Develop and implement contract management strategies and processes
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders
• Report to the Operations Director at Head Office
• Collaborate with Estimators and Quantity Surveyors on budgets and schedules
• Lead a team including two Contracts Managers and about 10 operatives

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in groundworks contract management
• Valid SMSTS certification
• Current First Aid at Work qualification
• Valid CSCS card
• Strong commercial acumen with multi-project management experience
• Experience with Microsoft Project for scheduling
• Leadership and stakeholder management skills

Package:

• Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 depending on experience
