Qualifications

• Significant experience in a Senior Contracts Manager or similar within civil engineering/construction.
• Experience delivering major infrastructure, energy or renewable projects.
• Strong understanding of NEC and/or other major forms of construction contract.
• Proven experience managing complex projects from pre-construction through to completion.
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
• Experience managing and developing project teams.
• Excellent client, stakeholder and subcontractor management skills.
• Strong financial, programme and risk-management capabilities.
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing strategic leadership across major infrastructure and renewable energy projects, ensuring successful commercial and operational delivery.
• Overseeing contractual, commercial and operational performance across multiple projects.
• Leading and developing Contracts Managers, Project Managers and delivery teams.
• Managing key client relationships and contractual obligations.
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Identifying and managing commercial risks, variations and opportunities.
• Working with commercial and estimating teams to maximise profitability.
• Monitoring project programmes, budgets, forecasts and performance.
• Overseeing contract negotiations, procurement and subcontractor management.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Reporting to senior management and supporting business development and continuous improvement.
