Job summary

Versa Consulting Limited is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager / Senior Project Manager to join its senior leadership team. The role covers overseeing multiple new build construction projects across sites, leading project teams, and driving growth and operational improvements within a growing contractor.

Applicants should have a strong background with main contractors and a proven track record delivering projects from inception to completion, with exceptional leadership and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Experience as a Contracts Manager, Senior Project Manager or Project Manager within the construction sector.
• Main contractor background is essential.
• Proven experience delivering new build projects.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
• Commercially aware with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple construction projects simultaneously
• Manage Site Managers and project delivery teams
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Monitor programme performance and resource requirements
• Support commercial teams with project reporting and cost control
• Drive quality standards across all projects
• Attend progress meetings and provide regular updates to senior management
• Identify and manage project risks
• Contribute to business growth and operational improvements
