Job summary

Industrious Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to own the negotiation, execution, governance and ongoing management of complex contracts across a diagnostic portfolio in the NHS and related sectors.

You will work with customers, suppliers, legal teams and internal stakeholders to ensure contracts are robust, compliant and delivered to SLAs and KPIs. The role covers tenders, mobilisation, renewals and performance across the UK and Ireland.

Qualifications

• Experience negotiating commercial contracts with NHS/public sector customers.
• Experience working with NHS customers or public sector procurement.
• Strong understanding of contract law and procurement processes.
• Experience managing SLAs, KPIs, service credits and contract performance.
• Experience negotiating with suppliers, partners and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong commercial awareness and interpreting pricing models.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiation and execution of commercial contracts with NHS, private sector and MSP customers.
• Manage contracts with partner suppliers and multi-supplier MSPs.
• Support major NHS tenders and competitive procurement processes.
• Work with legal teams to negotiate terms, KPIs and commercial agreements.
• Ensure compliance with UK procurement legislation (PCR 2015, Procurement Act 2023).
• Manage contract performance post-implementation (SLAs, KPIs, service credits).
• Identify, assess and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.
• Support Sales/BD with tenders, presentations and negotiations.
• Review pricing models, financial schedules and contractual mechanisms.
• Manage renewals, amendments and terminations as needed.
• Maintain contract data across CLMS, CRM and SAP.
