Job summary

William James Recruitment is partnering with an established full-service law firm to recruit a Contentious Probate Senior Associate / Legal Director in Colchester. You will advise Hertfordshire clients as well as London and UK-based high net worth individuals on inheritance, trust and estate disputes, alongside existing partners.

Requirements include a minimum of 5 years PQE as a Contentious Probate Solicitor and a good understanding of the Inheritance Act.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years PQE as a Contentious Probate Solicitor.
• Understanding of the Inheritance Act.
• Strong leadership and client advisory skills.
• Excellent organisation and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied, high-quality caseload of inheritance, trust and estate disputes.
• Work alongside partners and advise a broad client base across Hertfordshire, London and the UK.
