Job summary

William James Recruitment is seeking a Contentious Probate Senior Associate/Principal Associate for offices in Manchester or Leeds. You will handle high-value disputed estates and trusts, advising on will validity, trust disputes, and probate administration in a busy national practice.

The role offers exposure to multi-jurisdictional matters, client meetings and court hearings, with hybrid and flexible working and clear prospects for progression within a specialist team.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with 5+ PQE or equivalent experience.
• Strong contentious probate / trusts and estates experience.
• Experience handling high-value disputes and complex matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of contentious trusts and estates matters.
• Advise on will validity, trust disputes and estate administration disputes.
• Attend client meetings, conferences and court hearings; support junior team members.
