Job summary

OLIVER, part of The Brandtech Group, is recruiting in Sheffield for a mid-senior content specialist within the Centre of Excellence. You will own end-to-end content development for customer communications, ensuring governance and regulatory compliance, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver clear, compliant messaging across emails, letters, SMS and digital channels.

You will apply Consumer Duty principles, seek simple, customer-friendly outcomes, and drive efficiency

Qualifications

• Experience in communications, marketing, CRM, or customer servicing.
• Strong writing and editing skills for various channels.
• Knowledge of email, print, SMS, and digital messaging accessibility.
• Customer-first mindset focused on clarity and reducing effort.
• Confident stakeholder skills and translating requirements into outcomes.
• Sound judgement and attention to risk in regulated environments.
• Continuous-improvement mindset and market insights.
• Comfortable in multidisciplinary teams and collaboration.
• Proficiency with Gen AI tools for content work.
• Experience developing personal AI workflows.

Responsibilities

• Create and improve customer communications across email, letters, SMS and digital messaging.
• Shape briefs from the outset, working with stakeholders and squads to agree the right approach.
• Manage the end-to-end content development process — from brief to approval with governance and records.
• Apply Consumer Duty principles to every piece of content for fairness and clarity.
• Identify opportunities to simplify content and improve digital channel usage.
• Partner with product, proposition and service teams to connect communications to the customer journey.
• Use internal insight and market knowledge to improve communication effectiveness.
• Contribute to planning, prioritisation, delivery and continuous improvement in a cross-functional squad.
• Build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders, agencies and suppliers.
• Champion high standards within the Centre of Excellence.
