Railpen is responsible for the safekeeping and investment of around £34 billion in assets and the administration of several pension schemes, including the Railways Pension Scheme, one of the UK’s largest and longest established pension funds.

In this role, you’ll provide strategic communications support across multiple projects and business‑wide change initiatives. You’ll shape clear, member‑first communications that build understanding, reduce effort, and support colleagues across the organisation to deliver change well.
Your work will help shape how members experience important changes, how confidently they engage with their pension, and how well teams across Railpen deliver clear, useful and timely communications.
