Job description

Project Manager - Change & Transformation (C&T) Intro

We have an incredible opportunity for 2 x Project Managers (PM) to join our Change & Transformation (C&T) team on a permanent basis with a regular office attendance in London (hybrid working).

The Role

Within this role, you will be a valued member of the wider C&T Team by playing a crucial role in project delivery, driving efficiency and enhancing overall performance. You will contribute to the C&T team, ensuring that the Railpen Change Management approach is adhered to throughout the project lifecycle. This role will look to collaborate with business stakeholders across the company to successfully deliver projects to support Railpen’s strategic goals.

The Person

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who has demonstrable experience delivering change, ideally within the asset or investment management environment, and will be comfortable operating with strong controls, auditability, and clear evidence-based governance in line with the project standards set out by the Change Policy and associated procedures. The ability to work within a complex change environment, and deal with ambiguity is key. You will have exceptional project management and planning skills and an in-depth knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies including Agile and Waterfall. We are looking for someone who has a proven capability to build and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of business stakeholders, including senior and ExCo-level leaders, keeping them fully informed on progress to ensure engagement throughout the project lifecycle. You will be a credible, confident communicator with the ability to influence at a senior level, effectively managing relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders while clearly articulating strategy and vision. Exceptional organisational skills, including strong attention to detail and time management, are fundamental to ensuring timely, high-quality delivery. Ideally, this person will have led or been at the forefront of change across the front, middle and back office environments, and has a working knowledge of fund structures, fund accounting and or transfer agency. Our values of integrity, community and alignment are the guiding principles that influence our behaviour. They help us make decisions and shape our relationships with others. They’re what we stand for. You will actively demonstrate our values, helping to create a safe environment, to place the needs of the community above oneself and, through a culture of ‘fair challenge’, align to the best interests of our members.
