We have over 175 employees that we are proud to have represent us, operating from our offices in Manchester, Belfast, Dublin, and Glasgow. As the business grows from strength to strength, we are now looking to further extend our technical team by recruiting a Senior/Lead electrical engineer to be based from our Stockport, Greater Manchester office with UK and limited EU travel.

We are looking for the following qualifications and experience:

• a good degree in Electrical or Power Systems Engineering
• significant experience of electrical design or commissioning gained in an industrial, utility, renewable power, or consultancy environment, post-degree
• exposure to LV, MV, and HV systems (Up to 400kV)
• detailed understanding of embedded generation, protection circuits, grid connections, switchgear/switchyards, and substations
• detailed understanding of UK DNO process/applications (G99, G100, P28, G5/5, etc.)
• experience using industry-standard electrical software like DIGsilent, PSCAD, etc.
• a good understanding of health, safety, and welfare within engineering
• experience undertaking UK site-based construction/excitation monitoring, FAT, and SAT processes
• ability to travel within the UK and occasionally to the EU for short durations
• full driving license and full right to work in the UK
