As a Senior Fire Engineer, you will support and lead high-quality fire consultancy projects, supporting the Head of Fire Consultancy. Your role involves nurturing client relationships, ensuring technical excellence, and developing new business opportunities. You will also mentor junior staff, uphold professional standards, and contribute to team development through CPD activities.

The role requires travel to sites and attendance at regional offices, with scheduled training and team bonding sessions. You will manage your schedule to meet client needs, supported by a dedicated project support team.

How will you be the change?

You will oversee project delivery, develop key client accounts, act as the project focal point, and support sustainable growth and compliance. You will also mentor colleagues and contribute to professional development and client retention.

What does it take?

You should have a high degree of self-reliance, creativity, motivation, and excellent communication skills. A professional membership in a fire-related body, Level 5 Fire Safety qualification, and at least 10 years' experience in fire safety are required. Knowledge of relevant legislation and experience with fire strategies and risk management are essential. A Fire Engineering degree is beneficial.

Working arrangements

The role offers flexible, remote working from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with an hour for lunch.
