Job summary

Infosys Consulting is seeking a senior consultant to lead client workshops and deliver complex utility projects in the UK. You will coordinate across teams, manage risks, and mentor delivery squads while aligning with business change initiatives.

The role emphasizes stakeholder engagement, clear communication, and driving end-to-end project delivery in a high-performance, innovation-driven environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Utilities sector in the UK market, covering Electricity, Water or Gas energy.
  • Experience delivering functional utility projects across transmission, distribution, B2C/B2B.
  • Strong ability to gather, document and communicate business requirements.

  • Lead and participate in client interactions and workshops.
  • Deliver high quality deliverables on complex projects with tight deadlines.
  • Engage stakeholders across multiple teams for technology delivery and business change.
  • Own ambiguous problem statements and guide resolution of complex technical issues.
  • Act as trusted client advisor on focus areas and risks.
  • Support leadership in bids, pursuits and programme delivery.

About your role
  • Lead and participate in interactions and workshops with clients
  • Deliver high quality deliverables, while working on complex projects, towards tight deadlines
  • Engage stakeholders across multiple teams / organisations for technology delivery and business change
  • Take ownership and solve unclear / ambiguous problem statements and complex technical issues
  • Be a trusted advisor to the client on areas of focus
  • Assist programme leadership in managing risks / issues and in managing the delivery
  • Mentor and direct efforts within the project delivery team
  • Contribute to firm development and practice development initiative, e.g. innovation and learning
  • Support leadership team on bids and pursuits
  • Experience within the Utilities industry in UK Market, covering one or more of the following areas: Electricity, Water & Gas Energy
  • Experience of working on functional domains relevant to Utilities industry for Transmission, Distribution and B2C & B2B segments.
  • Prefer experience on Data Migration on SaaS Platforms such as Kraken, CRM Implementation, Customer Transformation.
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and stakeholder management skills
  • Have experience in gathering, synthesizing, documenting, and communicating business requirements
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Have knowledge of project management methodologies and Agile ways of working
  • Have experience of designing, developing, and delivering projects through the full life cycle
