As a Senior Consultant, you will lead and manage security design consulting engagements to professional standards, independently or with support from senior colleagues and the Director. You will be a subject matter expert in electronic security systems and oversee security design and installation projects from conception to completion. Additionally, you will maintain client and company deliverables, ensuring high quality, and that budgets and schedules are met. You will also develop and strengthen client relationships, facilitating the introduction and provision of additional Control Risks services.
Tasks and ResponsibilitiesConsulting- Undertake technical security reviews, audits, design surveys, installation inspections, and approvals, working at client sites and in the office.
- Design physical and electronic security systems in collaboration with specialist engineers within project teams.
Task Management- Act as the lead consultant on assignments, owning problems and providing solutions at the local level.
- Lead and participate in client and project meetings.
- Ensure practices, policies, strategies, and services serve the client's best interests.
- Maintain and develop long-term client relationships, working with key account managers.
- Keep accurate time and expense records for proper invoicing.
Task Delivery- Deliver client tasks on time, within budget, and to high standards.
- Collaborate with the team, leveraging their experiences and insights.
- Travel occasionally to client sites and offices within the Middle East, Europe, and Africa.
Business Development- Proactively seek project and business development opportunities.
- Participate in business development activities with senior leadership.
- Contribute to marketing and profile-raising events.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Team/Practice Development- Provide expert knowledge of security consulting and other Control Risks service lines.
RequirementsKnowledge and Experience- Proven background in security integration, design, consulting, or engineering, with experience in electronic and physical security systems.
- Deep knowledge of CCTV, access control, and other security technologies, with the ability to specify, design, and evaluate these systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and long-term relationships with clients.
- Certifications like CPP, PSP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Attention to detail in design and project management to ensure high-quality delivery.
Essential Skills- Hands-on experience installing and delivering enterprise electronic security solutions.
- Proven ability to manage and execute technical consulting engagements.
- Knowledge of current standards and best practices in security installation.
- Project management experience in security consulting and installations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Bluebeam software.
