Job Description:

As Senior Consultant, you will lead and manage security design consulting engagements to a professional standard; independently and/or in support of other senior colleagues and the Director. You will be a subject matter expert in electronic security systems and manage security design and installation projects from conception to completion. You will maintain client and company deliverables, ensuring high quality and that budgets and programs are met. Additionally, you will develop and build new and existing client relationships, facilitating the introduction and provision of additional Control Risks services.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Undertake technical security reviews, audits, design surveys, installation inspections, and approvals, working at client sites and in the office.
• Design physical and electronic security systems in conjunction with specialist engineers within project design teams.
• Act as the lead consultant on assignments, owning problems and providing solutions at the local level.
• Lead and participate in client and project meetings.
• Ensure practices, policies, strategy, and services represent the client's best interests.
• Maintain and develop long-term client relationships, working with key account managers.
• Maintain accurate time and expense records for invoicing.
• Deliver tasks for clients on time, within budget, and to high standards.
• Collaborate with the team and leverage their experiences and opinions.
• Travel to client sites and Control Risks offices within the Middle East, Europe, and Africa as needed.
• Proactively seek opportunities to develop projects and business.
• Contribute to business development and marketing activities.
• Participate in client meetings and develop long-term relationships.
• Provide expert knowledge of security consulting and other Control Risks service lines.

Requirements

Knowledge and Experience

• Proven experience in security integration, design, consulting, or engineering, with specific expertise in electronic and physical security systems.
• In-depth knowledge of CCTV, access control, and other security technologies, with the ability to specify, design, and evaluate these systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and long-term relationships with clients.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts clearly.
• Professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Meticulous attention to detail in design and project management.
• Hands-on experience installing and delivering enterprise-class electronic security solutions.
• Ability to manage and deliver technical consulting engagements.
• Knowledge of current standards and installation practices internationally and nationally.
• Project management experience related to security consulting and installations in the built environment.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Bluebeam design software.
