Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust is advertising for a Consultant Community Paediatrician to join the Autism Assessment team. The post is based in Watford, St Albans, Hemel Hempstead and surrounding areas, contributing to neurodevelopment assessments and multi-agency partnerships.

The role involves leading neuro-disability services within the Child Development Team, supporting safeguarding and inter-agency collaboration, and participating in service development across the Trust.

Responsibilities

• Provide services to children with neurodevelopment conditions, including development delay, autism, ADHD and neuro-disabilities.
• Collaborate in the weekly intake meetings to identify appropriate clinics for children.
• Offer expert advice to GPs and healthcare professionals on neuro-disabilities, autism and neurodevelopment.
