Job summary

Connected Places Catapult seeks a Senior Consultant to join the Enterprise Insights and Investment team. You will guide SMEs through growth, validate propositions, develop business models and GTM plans, and prepare for investment readiness.

You will work with founders and leadership teams, translating evidence into clear recommendations and shaping strategies for scale. In this role you will build relationships with investors and partners, contribute to bids, manage workstreams, and ensure

Qualifications

• Proven experience guiding SMEs through growth
• Ability to translate insights into practical recommendations
• Experience with market validation and business model design
• Experience with fundraising and investor engagement
• Strong stakeholder management and bid/proposal contribution

Responsibilities

• Diagnose commercial and growth challenges for SMEs and build trusted founder relationships.
• Facilitate discussions with founders to evaluate opportunities and inform decisions.
• Deliver structured advisory through workshops, analysis and 1:1 engagements.
• Support SMEs to validate value propositions and go-to-market plans.
• Lead defined workstreams including budgeting, resourcing and delivery planning.
• Collaborate with CPC investment teams to align specialist support and funding.
