Job Description

We are seeking a personable, enthusiastic, and energetic Senior Consultant to join our specialist Cost Assurance team. The role involves reviewing and scrutinizing actual incurred costs, driving supply chain improvements, and working within our UK Infrastructure business to support major programmes and projects.

• Deliver successful Cost Assurance commissions for Turner & Townsend.
• Lead and support junior team members to facilitate their development.
• Contribute to bids and business development activities.
• Refine internal training and product management related to the service line.

Job Objectives

• Review construction contractor systems, controls, and processes, and benchmark against industry best practices.
• Analyze complex construction contracts (NEC3/4/ICE Bespoke).
• Perform data testing and analysis using tools like PowerBi and Tableau.
• Produce clear, professional reports with key findings and recommendations.
• Engage with clients and supply chain to promote collaboration and trust.

Qualifications & Skills

Required Skills:

• Experience in assurance or audit within construction, commercial, or accounting sectors.
• Knowledge of construction industry technical matters and contract management (NEC3/4 preferred).
• Data analysis skills, with experience in PowerBi/Tableau.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
• Teamwork and organizational management experience.
• Presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Professional skepticism and integrity.
