Senior Construction Procurement Lead

Job summary

Office Angels is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to take ownership of procurement activities across multiple construction projects in Medway, ensuring packages are delivered on time, within budget and to required quality standards.

You will work closely with Commercial, Project and Site teams to deliver commercially successful projects, lead end-to-end procurement, negotiate terms, and identify cost-saving opportunities across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Proven procurement experience within the construction sector.
• Experience with subcontractor procurement packages and tendering.
• Strong negotiation skills, stakeholder management, and commercial awareness.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end procurement process for subcontractor, consultant and supplier packages
• Manage procurement across multiple live and pre-construction projects
• Prepare and issue tender enquiries, analyse returns and produce comparisons
• Negotiate scope, rates, commercial terms and programme requirements
• Identify risks, gaps and exclusions prior to contract award
• Ensure procurement aligns with project programmes and budgets
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
• Work closely with QS, Project Managers and Site teams
• Monitor procurement schedules and elevate risks
• Identify cost-saving and value engineering opportunities
