Job description

Senior Construction Planner

We are seeking a Senior Construction Planner to join our team in London, supporting Arup design teams from various regions. The work will involve a widespread variety of infrastructure and building projects, covering various project stages from proof of concept to feasibility studies to completion of construction.

Requirements:

Understanding of modern construction methods and constructability issues and logistics.
Understanding of planning and scheduling approaches.
Degree qualified in a related discipline.
An interest in how the construction industry is evolving, especially where carbon footprint and environment is involved.
An interest in using new technologies to improve communication of construction planning material e.g. 4D construction planning.
The ability to develop relationships with other planners/schedulers within Arup, as well as designers and project managers in order to promote, develop and support the firm's construction planning capability and services.
