Job summary

Skilled Careers in London is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead multiple high-value commercial office fit-out projects from pre-construction through to completion.

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will lead construction teams, coordinate subcontractors, maintain strong client relationships and ensure projects are delivered on programme, within budget and to the highest standards of quality.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering commercial office fit-out projects in London.
• Proven track record managing projects from pre-construction through to handover.
• Experience leading multiple project teams simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing and programme management.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of multiple commercial office fit-out projects across London.
• Manage Construction Managers, Site Managers and project delivery teams.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time and within budget.
• Drive programme performance and proactively manage project risks.
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Monitor quality standards throughout every stage of construction.
• Chair site meetings and coordinate all construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and company procedures.
• Work closely with the commercial and pre-construction teams to support successful project delivery.
• Mentor and develop junior members of the construction team.
