Job summary

Marmion is seeking a Consultant or Senior Consultant in Leeds with solid experience in construction law and dispute resolution. You will work on contentious and non-contentious projects, delivering strategic advice across the project lifecycle, including forensic analysis and claims preparation, within a growing, reputable practice.

The role offers hybrid working from Leeds, with a focus on client relationships, technical excellence, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Law, or related field.
• MRICS qualification or working towards chartership.
• 3–5 years post-degree experience in similar role.
• Experience with dispute resolution procedures and contract law.
• Experience with Expert Witness Reports preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing commercial, contractual and strategic advice throughout all stages of the construction project lifecycle.
• Conducting forensic analysis of tender, contract and claims documentation.
• Preparing claims for loss and expense, and adjudication documentation.
• Drafting reports that clearly set out processes, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Supporting dispute resolution processes including adjudication, arbitration and litigation support activities.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships through the delivery of high-quality consultancy services.
