Job summary

Ruth Wagstaff Recruitment Ltd in Bristol is seeking a Construction Associate or Senior Associate (4+ PQE) to join a leading Construction & Engineering team. The role offers hybrid working and a competitive salary.

You will advise on major development, redevelopment and infrastructure projects across the UK, draft and negotiate contracts, and collaborate with real estate, planning, banking and corporate teams on large-scale schemes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ PQE in transactional construction.
• Strong experience advising on built environment and real estate related construction matters
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and technical skills
• The ability to manage a varied and complex workload
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A collaborative, proactive and commercially minded approach
• Qualification as an SRA registered solicitor

Responsibilities

• Advising on major development, redevelopment and infrastructure projects
• Drafting and negotiating construction contracts, appointments, warranties and security documents
• Working closely with real estate, planning, banking and corporate teams on large scale projects
• Supporting developers, funders, investors and occupiers on complex construction arrangements
• Advising on UK and international projects across commercial, residential and mixed use schemes
• Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision
• Supporting senior lawyers on high value and strategic matters
