Job summary

Legal500 law firm in Essex seeks a Senior Associate to join its Construction Law team in Chelmsford or Basildon. The role involves a mix of contentious and non-contentious construction matters, with responsibility for a varied caseload and client advisory work.

The successful candidate will manage their own caseload, supervise and mentor junior lawyers, and contribute to business development and service delivery improvements within a growing practice.

Qualifications

• Confident senior lawyer with strong technical expertise in construction law or commercial litigation with construction disputes experience.
• Excellent client care, communication and leadership skills are essential.
• Supervision, business development and team leadership experience would be advantageous.

The role will involve a mix of contentious and non-contentious construction matters, with the opportunity to play a key role in the continued growth of the department.
